Petals to the Sea is a poetic reflection on life’s journey, where florals set before ocean horizons become symbols of memory, resilience, and transformation. Inspired by Hilma af Klint’s symbolic layering, I merge collage, texture, and abstraction to explore the connection between past and present. Each layer of colour holds fragments of other landscapes, weaving together stories of migration, belonging, and hope. Guided by the stars, these paintings invite quiet contemplation on the beauty of growing deep roots in new ground.
