Visual Artist Residency
In 2023, Veronica Miles Art will provide opportunities for four Australian-based artists to conduct residencies in Sandy Bay, Southern Lutruwita/Tasmania. This paid opportunity is open to artists from any level of professional practice and practising in visual art form.
The Exporer Artist in Residence Program is designed to support artists to spend dedicated time away from their usual environment to research, develop relationships and focus on their artwork or practice, with no expectation on a resolved outcome. Each residency will take place for up to 6 days in 2023.
Artists will be provided with:
- $2500 artist fee
- $500 contribution towards materials
- Self-contained accommodation
- Per diems
- Contribution towards travel expenses (e.g. fuel, fares, vehicle hire, etc.)
